Meet The Team
Dharmendra is our Director at ALD Support.
Dharmendra is a qualified medical doctor holding a postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Healthcare, completed at Westminster University of London.
With over 25 years of dedicated experience, Dr Grewal has been extensively involved in supporting and working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum.
His professional journey includes holding several senior management positions and serving as a board member of one of London’s most established Autism Support Charities, HFFA. Presently, Dr Grewal is the nominated individual for ALD Support, appointed by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
Abasse is our Managing Director of ALD Support and is the Registered Manager for the Care Quality Commission.
Abasse has a degree in Business and marketing obtained in France.
Abasse also has a degree in Health and Social Care and started his career in care in 2009. Abasse started as an agency worker and says ‘I fell in love with the care sector immediately and have never looked back since!’
Abasse is passionate about helping people and making a positive impact in peoples lives.
Rachel is our Quality Director at ALD Support.
Rachel is a Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) and qualified from Bournemouth University in 2013.
Rachel has a wide range of experience working with both adults and children with learning disabilities. She has experience working in a special need school, community mental health team and commissioning teams. She has experience working with people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and complex health needs.
Rachel is passionate about working with people with learning disabilities her goal is to ensure person centred care.
Kerida is an Area Manager at ALD Support.
Kerida is a recently qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), holding a BSC Hons Degree from Buckinghamshire New University. Kerida also holds several diplomas in health and social care equipping her with a solid foundation of knowledge and skills in the field.
Kerida has an extensive background in healthcare, of more than 13 years, and has experience working with various mental health conditions, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Learning Disabilities.
Kerida says she has ‘a blend of academic achievement, extensive experience and a genuine passion for improving lives. I am excited to contribute to the betterment of the community and the broader field of mental health nursing and healthcare’.
Gari is an Area Manager at ALD Support.
Gari holds a degree in Computing and Internet Technology from the University of Essex, a Diploma in Management in Health and Social Care, Future Leaders Program and is currently studying a Master’s Degree in Global Health Management at Greenwhich University.
Gari has 12 years of experience in health and social care supporting people with Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Prada Willi Syndrome, complex needs, mental health difficulties and people with behaviours whose challenge.
Gari has 10 years of experience in management within health and social care specifically in supporting people in services, managers and teams.
Gari says ‘I am passionate about changing the lives of people we support for the better and love what I do, which is making a difference’.
Jacob is our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Lead at ALD Support.
Jacob has a background in psychology, graduating from Durham University in 2012 with a BSc. in Applied Psychology. He also holds a Master’s degree in Autism Studies from the Tizard Centre at Kent University.
Jacob has extensive experience supporting individuals who have Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder and mental health conditions, through a variety of roles in the health and social care sector – from support worker to assistant psychologist. His experience spans across different environments, including mental health hospitals, residential services and supported living. Jacob has also provided support to individuals with forensic needs who have encountered the criminal justice system, and who may be subject to specific legal frameworks.
Jacob has a passion for improving the quality of life of the individuals we support, and fostering environments in which strengths are highlighted and reinforced, and skill development is promoted.
Sumaiya is our HR Administrator at ALD Support. Sumaiya has a Masters of Science in Data Science from Kingston University and is currently studying CIPD Level 5 in People Management.
Sumaiya brings a unique combination of HR proficiency, data science knowledge and ongoing education which brings lots of strengths to her role.
Sumaiya believes she has ‘ability to handle HR-related queries while utilising her expertise in data management, analysis and technical problem resolution gained during her MSc studies’
Ana is our Administrator at ALD Support. Ana is a qualified Social Worker completed at Zaragoza University in Spain and she is holding a certificate in Community Services in Brisbane, Australia.
Ana has over 10 years’ experience of working with children and adults with Disabilities in Spain, Australia, and the UK.
Ana has experience working for Local Authorities in the Children with Disabilities Team and in the private sector in the areas of Supporting Living and Community Services.
Nisha is our Finance Manager at ALD Support. Nisha brings eight years of invaluable experience, enriched by a Chartered Accountancy qualification and an MBA in Finance.
Nisha manages payroll, invoicing, financial audits, and expenses, ensuring financial integrity and compliance.
Nisha supports with achieving high standards in financial management for ALD Support.
Deepanshi is our Office Administrator at ALD Support. She brings four years of invaluable experience, enriched by a Project Management Certification from Canada and a degree in Business Administration and International Business Management.
Deepanshi helps with supporting HR, finance, IT-related projects and office administration. Deepanshi works to ensuring operational efficiency and coordination. She helps to support ALD Support in achieving high standards in many areas.
Ann is our Office Administrator at ALD Support. Ann has many years of experience working as a PA and Administrator. She has 23 years’ experience of working in health care organisations.
Ann brings to ALD a vast knowledge of administration and organisational skills and helps to support our Directors. She enjoys being a team player and works alongside Ana in supporting our commissioners.
