I’d just like to say thank you for all ALD’s help and support.

I was particularly impressed when the carers organised a party just after Christmas, when the family were visiting. All of Harvey’s carers turned up and food was provided and well as Christmas gifts, plus decorations for Christmas. This was so very nice of the carers and very, very much appreciated.

We can’t fault the support ALD provide and can’t praise the carers enough.
I did say to the carers how impressed we were but I thought you aught to know as well.

JM'S dad called Abasse and said that he was very pleased with the meeting and added and it is quoted "I have been in thousands of meetings in my life regarding JM and also with other care provider because of my past experience and I never came across a provider like ALD where staff are extremely competent, knowledgeable about JM'S needs, calm confident. I just felt I had to drop you a quick line about TL's care.

ALD have been involved with TL's care for nearly five years, during which time TL has had to endure some horrendous treatment at the hands of another care provider and various government departments. It would have been very easy for ALD to have walked away at any stage. However, yourself and all of your care staff have remained steadfast to the promises you made to us all that time ago. For this, I would like you know we are immensely grateful.

The care TL is currently receiving is the best we have known in his adult life, and despite the obvious difficulties presented by TL's behaviour, we can see a marked improvement in TL’s wellbeing. We are extremely happy with his current care staff and appreciate their hard work and patience in giving TL as many opportunities as they can to enjoy life.

A special mention for his team leader. She is quite clearly a very positive influence on TL, and we have seen firsthand the pleasure he gets from being in her company. It is very rare to find someone that TL both respects and feels comfortable with. It is obvious how much he loves having her around.

Finally, we would like to thank you personally Abasse. As you know, from the outset this has been an extremely difficult, time-consuming and stressful placement for ALD. However, you have stayed committed, patient and respectful of our needs throughout the duration, and we will be forever thankful.

We hope that ALD's involvement with TL continues for many years to come.
